Sleep Disorder Center

Diagnostic testing through the Sleep Disorder Center can help people who have sleep disorders. With the use of sophisticated equipment, physicians can diagnose sleep disorders including narcolepsy, sleep walking, insomnia, sleep apnea, and more.

Obstructive sleep apnea affects an estimated 15 million Americans, and can be an underlying cause of high blood pressure, heart disease, heart attack, stroke, fatigue-related motor vehicle and work accidents, and a decreased quality of life.

A sleep study is an outpatient diagnostic procedure performed over one or two nights in the Sleep Disorder Center. A study can be scheduled morning, afternoon, or evenings to accomodate your sleep schedule; and home-based sleep testing is also available.

Our psychologists can provide cognitive behavior therapy and relaxation therapy to help improve sleep.
